In New Orleans for the eCommerce Summit, Beignets, and Jazz Fest :: Google PageRank Update

I thought I’d give a quick update as to my Carmen Sandiego-esque whereabouts, so I apologize for the noisy, substance-light post. For those of you who live it up in the Big Easy, I’m in New Orleans from now until Sunday. The ECMTA 2008 Spring eCommerce Summit is happening this Tuesday through Friday, and I was asked to attend. In addition to captaining two lunch roundtables (one on Wednesday and one on Thursday), I’ll also be speaking about social media at the New Media Panel on Thursday from 10:30-11:30. If you’re attending the conference you will receive a discount on an SEOmoz PRO membership, and you’ll get an extra hefty discount if you attend my session, so give in to my bribery and park your ass in my room on Thursday.

In addition to speaking at the conference, I’ll be staying the weekend to attend the Jazz Festival, about which I’m geekily excited. I’ve also been urged by no fewer than three people to stuff my face with beignets at Cafe du Monde and check out the French Quarter, so I’ll likely be running around like a dumb tourist while I’m here. If you live in New Orleans or are attending the eCommerce Summit, drop me a line and perhaps we can grab a drink, talk SEO, or greedily gulp down some gumbo.

FYI: Rand and Jane are in Long Beach for SMX Social Media, so with the Three SEO Musketeers out of the office, Q&A responses may be a bit delayed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
