Those using Google Audio ads are reporting that there are some problems when resuming ads. If a campaign is paused, you apparently cannot resume it. If a campaign is stopped, you also cannot resume it. Another issue that was reported is that some advertisers cannot run their audio ads on more than one station.
AdWordsPro.Steph writes a response on the Google Groups thread and says that you’re unable to resume a campaign once it’s stopped. You can, however, copy your settings over to a brand new campaign and start again.
The other issue reported are likely to be technical glitches, Steph continues. Her recommendation is to report it as a bug to the attention of the Audio Ads team.

I am not sure if anyone noticed or not, but Reddit.com has removed the advanced search option from it’s site. I used to use advanced search strings like "(site:brentcsutoras.com)" to check if anyone had submitted my posts to Reddit.

A lot of rankings are dropping, and one webmaster even reports that he’s hit a new traffic low in 2008.
One member likens these drops to the fact that Google might want to emphasize their paid listings.
Looks to me that at this stage of the game where Google completely dominates the market it would be beneficial for them to have “inconsistent”/”moving” results in the natural search so people would click on the ads as those are consistent. When searchers will get the idea that they will not get the same (even though still relevant) result every time they search, they will most certainly pay more attention to the ads. Google getting richer?

Other observations include blogs being ranked higher, link exchange websites taking a hit in the rankings, issues with relevant rankings (specifically, more relevant internal pages are now being replaced by the less-relevant home pages for search phrases), and a lot of dropped rankings.

The downfall of most automated content solutions is the perception that because it is automated it is spammy. But that perception may have changed recently, when the NYT published an article about Philip M. Parker. Mr. Parker created a sophisticated set of algorithms which has allowed him to automatically generate over 200,000 books.
He points out that once he has trained the computer to take data about past sales and make complex calculations to project future sales, each new book costs him about 12 cents in electricity. Since these books are print-on-demand or delivered electronically, he is ahead after the first sale, he said.

And when it comes down to content quality, a person who reviewed one of the books on Amazon.com, stated
“The book is more of a template for ‘generic health researching’ than anything specific to rosacea. The information is of such a generic level that a sourcebook on the next medical topic is just a search and replace away.” … Mr. Parker was willing to concede much of what Mr. Pascoe argued. “If you are good at the Internet, this book is useless,” he said, adding that Mr. Pascoe simply should not have bought it.
So this is a case of self-proclaimed substandard production, and because he is first to market it is fine. But the profit margins are probably bigger than Google’s. The commercial web is just over a decade old and this sort of technology already exists. Where will automated content generation be in 5 years? In 10 years?
